Lab facility.

Update: October 2025

Aiming for a fully functioning palynology lab at some point.

Currently, we have two light microscopes (Nikon and Leica) for studying palynomorphs and diatom frustules, and quite a nice office space for lab members (with the best view of Yeonhi-dong, in my opinion) though we’ll likely be moving in 2026.

Lab work has been made possible through collaborations with other research groups.

Many thanks to the SNU Archaeological Labs (Prof. J.Bates), the marine sediment processing labs at KOPRI, the Ecohydrology Research Group at the University of Waterloo (Canada), and everyone who’s been willing to help in every possible direction :)
